ABOUT CAMERON MANAGEMENT

Company History

A Legacy of Success

Cameron Management, Inc. is an investment management company based in Wilmington, North Carolina, with a focus on real estate development, brokerage and property management. Cameron Management was established to more effectively manage the real estate investments of brothers Bruce B. Cameron and Dan D. Cameron and their families.

Beginning in the 1980s, the company recognized the strategic importance of acquiring and investing in large tracts of land and comprehensively master-planning the development of each parcel. This vision has resulted in a large inventory of property ready for development across the greater Wilmington area.

Our predecessors and principals have been at the forefront of the Wilmington, North Carolina business community for almost a century.  Equally as important, and more impactful, is the desire to give back locally. Whether providing funding or serving in civic or non-profit organizations, the Cameron Management team truly cares for the local community.

Philanthropy & Arts

A FOUNDATION FOR GROWTH

At Cameron Management, we believe in giving back to our local community. As part of our philanthropic approach, our founders established The Bruce B. Cameron Family Foundation and The Dan Cameron Family Foundation to support local organizations that make a difference in the lives of those around us. Through these foundations, we provide financial assistance and volunteer our time to causes that align with our values and mission. Our commitment to supporting the community in which we operate is a core part of who we are as a company. We are proud to partner with organizations that share our vision for a better tomorrow.

While annually supporting many local organizations, our Foundations are major naming contributors to Novant Health Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Cameron School of Business at University of North Carolina, Wilmington, and the Cameron Art Museum. Additionally, the Foundations have made substantial contributions to many other local organizations most notably the Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington (GLOW), the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, and the Community Boys & Girls Club now known as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina.
